The White Sox shutout the Browns for the second straight time and they won their three game series in the process. Doc White gave up eight hits and one walk, but none of those baserunners crossed the plate.
The White Sox managed only three hits but they made their baserunners count. They also drew five walks. Lee Tannehill had two of the White Sox three hits and he scored one of the three runs.
