by @ 8:00 am. Filed under 1906 White Sox, 1906 White Sox Diary - June

June 29, 1906 at League Park

Naps 9, White Sox 2  (32-29)

Ed Walsh was shelled and only lasted two innings.  Unfortunately, Frank Owen didn’t throw much better and the White Sox were shelled on the road in Cleveland.

Jiggs Donahue had three hits in the game but never crossed the plate.  Fielder Jones had two hits and he scored once.
