It’s unlikely that Jermaine Dye will win the AL MVP. In fact he’ll probably finish no better then third behind David Ortiz and Derek Jeter. That doesn’t mean what he accomplished this season went unnoticed. Jermaine Dye won the Player’s Choice awards for the AL’s outstanding player. He clubbed 44 homeruns and drove in 120. Congratulations to Dye.
