I picked this one up on Baseball Musings but it looks like there’s some speculation that Joe Crede could be traded for Angels utility man Chone Figgins.  Seems the Angels are in the market for some power since they were rebuffed by Alfonso Soriano (and now Carlos Lee) and without a legitimate starter at third base, they figure the White Sox might want to part ways with Crede.

This would be just the kind of trade Ozzie Guillen would go for.  Figgins is one of those productive out, stolen base utility guys that Guillen likes and the White Sox do have a third baseman in the pipe line.  So the deal isn’t out of the realm of possibility.
