White Sox Get Hammered on Opening Day

by @ 6:19 pm. Filed under 2007 Season

I feel bad for the guys who made it out for the game today.  Jose Contreras was gone before he even got an out in the second inning and already he’d given up eight runs.  The pen didn’t do a whole lot better as the Indians kept pouring it on in those first three frames.  PRetty ugly.

Paul Konerko and Darin Erstad both homered while Juan Uribe had two hits and an RBI.  There’s not a whole lot that’s good to say about this game and hopefully Jon Garland will right the ship on Wednesday.
