June 3, 1906 at Southside Park

Naps 2, White Sox 0  (16-21)

Cleveland starter Addie Joss held the White Sox to four hits in a complete game shutout as Ed Walsh was outdueled.  Ed Hahn was the only White Sox who really touched Joss and he had three of the White Sox three singles.  Fielder Jones had the other hit.

Walsh gave up two runs on only six hits, but three of those were for extra bases.  He struck out three and walked two.
